digiTILE from digiLED lights up the Greenwich Peninsula

digiLED’s digiTILE Q has taken up residence in its latest great location, right outside the entrance of the o2 Arena in South East London.

Knight Dragon’s agreement for the development of the Greenwich Peninsula meant that the site of the old o2 screen would need to be demolished. So as to provide continuity of service, the new 5.21mm pixel pitch digiTILE display, measuring 7.5m wide by 4m high, is temporarily located between the busy underground station and the main Arena entrance.
Once the new infrastructure has been built, the screen will be moved back closer to the original location, housed in a purpose-designed structure.  Guy Horrigan, Commercial Director of digiLED says: ‘Working closely with Knight Dragon, we have installed our latest digiTILE system, built on 500mm x 500mm frames with integral locking mechanism. This means that moving the screen from the temporary scaffold structure to the final fabricated location will be quick and easily manageable’.
