ITV News West Country upgrades broadcast studio screens in Bristol
When ITV News West Country relocated to a newly refurbished studio and gallery at its Bristol headquarters, the broadcaster required a modern display solution capable of delivering exceptional on-camera performance, operational flexibility and improved energy efficiency.
Working alongside systems integrator dB Broadcast, digiLED designed and supplied three custom broadcast studio LED screens using our advanced digiTHIN NANO COB technology and patented digiLED ZEUS® power management system. The installation was completed without interrupting live news broadcasts, ensuring a seamless transition to the new studio environment.

Broadcast studio LED screens designed for outstanding on-camera performance
In broadcast environments, image quality is critical. Every display must perform flawlessly under studio lighting and withstand the scrutiny of high-definition cameras.
To meet these requirements, digiLED supplied three custom-built LED screens featuring 1.5mm digiTHIN NANO COB technology and advanced driver ICs, helping to minimise visual artefacts and deliver excellent image reproduction on camera. The result is a cleaner, sharper viewing experience for both presenters and audiences.

To support a variety of news and weather programming, digiLED supplied three bespoke digiTHIN NANO COB 1.5mm LED displays, providing more than 13sqm of high-resolution LED surface area across the studio.
The installation included:

- Presentation screen: 1.2m x 1.69m
- Weather screen: 3.0m x 1.69m
