digiLED delivers a campus-wide LED installation at the Scottish Event Campus
The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow is one of the UK’s most prominent destinations for live entertainment, exhibitions and conferences, welcoming over one million eventgoers a year. Following a competitive tender process, digiLED was appointed to deliver LED installations across the entire campus – the OVO Hydro Arena, the SEC Armadillo and the SEC Centre.

LED screens for arenas within a complex architectural environment
The SEC campus is architecturally unique. Curved structures, limited mounting surfaces and irregular geometries presented significant challenges.
The Welcome Wall within the OVO Hydro presented a significant challenge, installed on a curved, conical façade and tilted 30° towards the audience. Achieving seamless alignment across three faceted surfaces was further complicated by the absence of accurate as-built drawings.

Bespoke LED display solutions for arena & live event spaces
To support the diverse requirements of the SEC, digiLED designed and delivered a network of bespoke LED display solutions tailored to each venue and environment.
Within the OVO Hydro Arena installations include the large scale digiTHIN XS Q Welcome Wall, a 137 metre mid-tier ribbon and VISION MAX Q turnstile screens, providing high-impact visual communication at key points.
The SEC Armadillo features custom-engineered VISION MAX Q displays installed on bespoke sliding frameworks for efficient servicing, while the SEC Centre features fine-pitch welcome screens alongside a NANO COB wayfinding display positioned above the entrance to an auditorium, delivering clear, high-resolution visuals in a high traffic environment.

Arena LED screens & energy-efficient digital signage
